Choosing your Christmas wreath

Natural or artificial?

A natural wreath of Nordmann branches gives off a genuine resinous scent and lasts about three weeks indoors — longer outside in cold weather. An artificial wreath keeps for years and suits a heated interior or professional use better.

Which diameter?

• 23 to 35 cm — table centrepiece or Advent wreath with candles
• 40 to 60 cm — standard front door
• above 60 cm — a statement piece for a shop window, a hallway or a business space

The Advent wreath

The Advent wreath traditionally carries four candles, lit on the four Sundays before Christmas. You set it up at the end of November. Our branch wreaths and snowy models suit it particularly well — pair them with candles in a matching tone.

Pre-lit Christmas wreaths

Our wreaths with built-in LEDs are ready straight away: hang them, plug them in, and they are lit. Place them indoors, or outdoors under shelter — the built-in lighting does not withstand rain or frost. Would you rather choose your own light? Take a wreath without lighting and tuck in a battery-powered string of lights.
