Bruxelles-Propreté collects Christmas trees in January
Across the 19 communes, the regional agency Bruxelles-Propreté runs a collection of natural Christmas trees every year, free and with no registration. There is nothing to book with us: your tree goes out with the garden waste, and that is that.
- Free — included in the regional collection service.
- Early January, on your neighbourhood's garden waste collection day.
- No decorations, no pot, placed along the façade without blocking the pavement.
- Turned into compost at Bruxelles-Compost — around 100 tonnes of conifers a year.
Only natural trees are collected. An artificial tree goes to a Recypark. Service run by Bruxelles-Propreté, independently of Sapins.be.
Your tree costs less every year
Every order earns loyalty points you can turn into a discount on your next tree or decorations. They carry over from season to season and appear in your account as soon as the order is confirmed.

Pay with your eco-vouchers
A natural Christmas tree is a living product and falls within the categories covered by the Belgian eco-voucher. You can therefore pay all or part of your order with electronic eco-vouchers from Pluxee, Edenred or Monizze, with no special formality — simply select that payment method at checkout.
If your vouchers do not cover the full amount, you top up with another payment method.

Frequently asked
Your questions before ordering
Will my tree drop its needles?
The Nordmann is chosen precisely because it does not. And we cut as the season goes, according to orders — your tree has not spent three weeks in a car park. A water stand keeps it fresh longer still.
When exactly do you deliver?
Every day, from 20 November to 20 December — weekends and public holidays included, without a single day closed. After 15 December slots fill up fast: better to book in the first half of the month, or as early as October with the pre-order discount.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, so the driver can place the tree where you want it. The email the day before at 5pm gives you your window, and an SMS warns you on the day as soon as the driver sets off — so you know when to be there.
What if I live on a floor with no lift?
That is daily life for our drivers in Brussels. Give the floor at checkout: the tree goes up with them, still netted, and is only unwrapped once in the room.
Do you deliver to businesses and shops?
Yes, including large sizes. We regularly deliver to offices, shops and reception areas across Brussels.
What happens after the holidays?
Bruxelles-Propreté collects it free of charge in early January, on your neighbourhood's garden waste day: put it out with no decorations and no pot, along the façade. It goes to Bruxelles-Compost. A potted tree can be replanted, with no guarantee it will take: move it out of the heat gradually and plant it as soon as you can.
Brussels: the best slots go in November
