Who we are

A Belgian company since 2004, Sapins.be has made delivery its trade. A good share of our customers in Brussels and Antwerp have just arrived in the country: expats, international families, company headquarters. We know their constraints, and we built our service around them.

Delivery

Our trade, not an add-on

You choose your date when you order. We let you know the day before by email and SMS with your time slot, and we deliver ourselves, with our own teams. No car, no staircase, no queue.

First choice

Trees chosen one by one

Our Nordmann come from the Belgian Ardennes, two hours from Brussels. They are marked at the grower's in September, cut late in the season, and selected individually on their shape and the density of their branches.

Decoration

From ready-made kits to bespoke

Baubles, string lights and matching decoration kits to dress your tree in an evening. And for reception halls, offices and shops, our decorators design and install a complete scheme.

Our trees

Four families of trees, for every interior and every budget.

Which height to choose

All our heights are given in centimetres, from the foot of the trunk to the tip. The stand adds height below, the topper adds height above.

Tree heightSuitsPrice from
100 – 125 cmStudio, office, side table€69
125 – 150 cmSmall flat, child's bedroom€79
150 – 175 cmOne-bedroom flat, low ceiling€89
175 – 200 cm Most chosenStandard living room, 2.50 m ceiling€104
200 – 250 cmLarge living room, 2.80 m ceiling€129
250 – 300 cmTownhouse, company reception hall€199

The simple rule: measure your ceiling height, take off 30 cm, and choose the band just below. A 2.50 m ceiling comfortably takes a tree of 175 to 200 cm. By far the size most ordered from us.

How it works

Three steps, a few minutes, and nothing left to organise.

You choose your tree

The species, the height and the stand: wooden cross, reusable water stand, or nothing at all if you already have your own.

You choose your day

You select the delivery date when ordering. The day before, an email and an SMS confirm your time slot.

The tree arrives

It is delivered in a net, which lets it through doors and lifts. You cut the net once the tree is standing, and the branches open out within a few hours.

A service built for city life

Many of our customers in Brussels and Antwerp have no car, live in a flat and work late. Our service is built around those constraints.

You can order from your desk, have the tree delivered to an address other than your own, and specify a building, a reception desk or an access instruction. Everything is settled when you order, with no phone call.

Order my tree
  • Delivery on the date you choose, from the calendar shown before payment.
  • An email and an SMS the day before to give you the time slot.
  • Delivery at home or at the office, to the building entrance, on the ground floor.
  • Secure payment by Belgian or foreign card, and eco-cheques accepted.
  • A Belgian invoice with VAT number, useful for an expense claim or a company order.
  • A team you can reach by phone and email throughout the season.

Why our trees last longer

A tree that drops its needles before Christmas has almost always been cut too early. That is the one point we don't compromise on.

Our Nordmann are never cut before the end of November. They come from the Belgian Ardennes, two hours' drive from Brussels, which sharply reduces the time between the cut and your living room. Every tree is selected for its shape and the density of its branches before being netted.

  • Late cutting: never before the end of November, unlike large retail supply chains.
  • Belgian origin: trees grown in the Ardennes, a short journey to your door.
  • Selected individually: shape, density and height checked before dispatch.
  • Water stand available: the tree keeps drinking, which noticeably extends how long it holds.
  • One tree bought, one tree replanted through our reforestation partner.

Frequently asked questions

I've just arrived in Belgium, how do I order?

Everything is done online, in a few minutes. You choose the tree, the height, the stand and the delivery date, then you pay by card. No Belgian bank account is needed and no particular formality is required.

I live on the fourth floor with a small lift. Is that possible?

The tree travels in a net, which reduces its bulk to roughly the width of the trunk: heights up to 200 cm fit in a standard lift. Delivery is made at the building entrance, on the ground floor; carrying it upstairs is up to you. For a narrow staircase or a tall tree, let us know in the order comments.

Can I have it delivered to my office?

Yes. You can give a delivery address different from the billing address, and specify a building, a reception desk or a particular time slot. We regularly deliver to buildings with controlled access.

How do I keep my tree looking good until January?

Keep it away from radiators and direct heat sources, and give it water if you chose a water stand. A well-placed, regularly watered tree keeps its needles well beyond the holidays.

What do I do with the tree after Christmas?

The municipalities of Brussels and Antwerp organise free tree collections in January, on dates published on their websites in December. The trees are shredded and composted. Put yours out without the net, without decorations and without a stand.

When should I order?

Earlier than you would think. Deliveries run from 18 November to 20 December, and the finest tall trees go first. Booking your date in early November is the surest way to get the tree you want, on the day you want.

Your first Belgian Christmas, without the logistics

Choose your tree, choose your day, and we take care of the rest. From the Ardennes to your living room.
