Original Christmas baubles

An original Christmas bauble is what stops a tree looking like every other tree. Our selection departs from the plain sphere in three ways: material, shape and finish.

Blown glass

Blown glass is unlike anything else: the thickness varies slightly from piece to piece, light catches it differently than it does plastic, and every bauble carries its own small irregularities. Exactly what you want when the tree should not look mass-produced. Our glass pine cones — gold, silver, red, blue, champagne, pink — show it best.

Velvet and satin

Velvet baubles bring a matt depth that glass cannot. In red, green, pink, burgundy or purple, they create the matt-and-gloss contrast that gives a tree its relief. Satin does the same with more shine.

Shapes other than the sphere

Olives, hearts, snowflakes, owls, reindeer, snowmen, small trees. These figurative pieces are noticed individually, where a plain bauble blends in. That is why you need few: one original piece per four or five plain baubles.

Clear baubles to fill yourself

Our clear baubles open up: artificial snow, feathers, a photograph, a note, beads. The ideal base for a personalised decoration, and an easy project with children.

Sold in matched sets

Most references come in sets of 2, 3, 4, 6 or 12, already coordinated. Complete them with plain glass baubles, or shatterproof ones if you have children or pets.

Where to hang them

Hang the most worked pieces at eye level, on the outer branches. Keep plain baubles for the inside of the tree and the lower sections. A good tree is not one where everything stands out.
